England confirms Tour of India, Test Venues shifted to Chennai and Mohali

Breaking News! The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that England's cricket team would tour India for a two-test match series. England will send its regular team, not any second string team. The venues of test matches have been shifted to Chennai and Mohali instead of Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

The first test match will be held in Chennai from Dec 11 - 15, while the second test match will be played in Mohali from Dec 19 - 23. The three-day warm-up match has been called off. The ECB will send its security consultant to oversee the security arrangements.
