After the 2-0 series win against Australia, India moved to the second spot in the latest ICC Test Ranking. Australia still occupies the No. 1 spot with 129 points. Both India and South Africa are levelled at 116 points each. However, India surpassed South Africa by a fraction of rating point. Australia leads the ICC ODI Rankings, while India is placed on 5th spot.

Shivnaraine Chanderpaul (West Indies) still occupies the top spot in ICC Test Ranking for Batsmen, while Dhoni is on top in the ICC ODI Ranking for the Batsmen.
