India on brink of history in Nagpur, Australia needs 382 to win

The Nagpur test is poised for an exciting finish, as Australia needs 369 runs to win the test and level the series 1-1, while India needs 10 wickets to seal the series 2-0. India set a victory target of 382 for Australia. Australia finished 13/0 at stumps with Hayden and Katich remained unbeaten. It would be interesting to see how the Australian batsmen negotiate the Indian spin attack on a turning and low bounce wicket.

Earlier, India recovered from a dramatic batting collapse and bowled out for 295. India were 166/6 and it looked like as Australia would bounce back in the game. But Skipper Dhoni and Harbhajan Singh stopped the Australian onslaught.

Dhoni and Harbhajan added 108 runs for the seventh wicket. Dhoni scored 55, while Harbhajan made 52. Sewhag was the top scorer for India with 92. Murali Vijay scored 41. For Australia, Watson and Krejza took 4 wickets each. Jason Krejza finished with 12 wickets in his debut test match.
