Will Sourav Ganguly get the nod for Test Series against Australia?

As the newly-formed selection committee meets today to choose the test squad for the upcoming series against Australia, the biggest debate that is doing round is whether Sourav Ganguly will be selected in the squad or not. The previous selection committee headed by Dilip Vengsarkar ignored Ganguly, but it is not known what action K Srikkanth and co. will take.

Recently, Sourav Ganguly failed to win the favour of selectors during the selections for Irani Trophy. However, this time he has a selector from Bengal to back him. Raja Venkat may support Ganguly, while Srikkanth may not oppose it. If the indications are true, Ganguly may get the nod again, but VVS Laxman may get the axe. Yuvraj and Badrinath may get selected in the 15-member squad, although it's too early to say. Will Dada make a comeback or hit the dead end? Let's wait and watch.
