Kumble unfit, Dhoni takes charge in Mohali Test, Amit Mishra makes debut

As expected, India's test skipper Anil Kumble was declared unfit for the second test between India and Australia in Mohali. ODI skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the captain of India in Mohali test. Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. Leg spinner Amit Mishra made his debut for India. For Australia, fast bowler PM Siddle replaced injured Stuart Clark.
Gambhir and Sehwag added 70 runs for the first wicket. Sehwag was out for 35. Gambhir went on to score a half century. He is still batting on 53 off 90 balls. India were 104/1 just after lunch. Dravid was batting on 11. All eyes are on Sachin Tendulkar, who needs just 15 runs to become the highest run scorer in Test Cricket. He is just 14 runs short of Brian Lara, who has scored 11,953 runs. Sachin has scored 11,939 runs so far.
