Kotla Test: Australia reach 338/4 at Stumps, Kumble injured

Breaking News! Australia replied strongly to India's first innings total of 613/7, as they reached 338/4 at stumps on third day of the Kotla test. Australian batsmen did not have difficulties to handle the bowling attack on a flat batting track that offered little help to the bowlers. To add India's woes, skipper Anil Kumble, who always have a great outing at Kotla, injured his finger and could not bowl in the afternoon.
Matthew Hayden and Simon Katich added 123 runs for the first wicket. Hayden scored 83, while Katich made 64. Ricky Ponting too found his form and scored 87. Hussey made 54. Interestingly, part-time bowler Virender Sehwag took 3 wickets, while Amit Mishra claimed 1 wicket. At stumps, Clarke and Watson were batting on 21 and 4 respectively.
