Bangalore Test: Hussey scores Century, as Australia piles up 430

Mike Hussey played a brilliant knock of 146 to help Australia reach a commanding total of 430 in the first innings of Bangalore Test. Hussey joined Ponting, who had scored 123 in the first innings. For India, Zaheer Khan took 5 wickets, while Ishant Sharma bagged 4 wickets. Harbhajan Singh claimed 1 wicket.

In reply, India began on a positive note and reached 68/0 at stumps. Virender Sehwag remained unbeaten on 43 off 55 balls. Gautam Gambhir was batting on 20. Australian bowlers bowled 18.1 overs, but failed to make any impact on the Indian openers.
