Bangalore Test: Australia fights back after Hayden's Loss

The much-awaited test series between India and Australia finally began in Bangalore. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Zaheer Khan drew the first blood by removing Matthew Hayden in the very first over. However, Australia fought back with Ponting and Katich striking form. Australia were 153/1 when reports last came in. Ponting was batting on 92 while Katich was batting on 62. Cameroon White makes his debut for Australia.
