Third Test at Colombo: India in Trouble, as debutant Prasad strikes

After winning the toss and elected to bat first, India made a good start with both Sehwag and Gambhir adding 50 runs in just 7 overs. However, debutant fast bowler Dammika Prasad struck thrice to remove Sehwag and out-of-form batsmen Dravid (10) and Tendulkar (6). Sehwag scored 21. Gautam Gambhir completed his half century and is batting on 56.

India were 102/2 when reports last came in. Prasad claimed all three wickets on a pitch that suits fast bowlers better than spinners. Prasad claimed Sachin's wicket through the review system. Both Sri Lanka and India have made one changes each to their squads. While Parthiv Patel replaced Karthik in Indian squad, Dammika Prasad replaced Kulasekhara in the Sri Lankan squad.
