Sehwag scores Double Century, but Mendis triggers Indian Collapse

Virender Sehwag scored yet another double century in test cricket, but India failed to capitalize on his great performance. Ajantha Mendis struck again with his maiden 5-wicket haul. Mendis took 6 wickets, as India bowled out for 329. Sehwag remained unbeaten on 201.

It was Sehwag's 5th double century in test cricket - most by any Indian batsman. Laxman made 30. Muralitharan and Vaas took 2 wickets each. It would be interesting to see how the Sri Lankan batsmen negotiate Indian spinners on a slow and turning wicket.
