Test Squad for Sri Lanka Series: Dhoni opts out, Yuvraj, Irfan dropped

Under fire from several quarters over the declining performance of Team India in recent tournaments, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni opted out of the forthcoming test series against Sri Lanka.

The selectors acted tough by dropping Yuvraj Singh, Wasim Jaffer and Irfan Pathan from the team. Rohit Sharma, Pragyan Ojha are the new faces in the team. Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan, Zaheer and Parthiv Patel got a recall. Sreesanth has been declared unfit.
