Sreesanth injured, Gony selected for Tri-Series in Bangladesh

S Sreesanth's injury came as a blessing in disguise for IPL sensation Manpreet Gony, as he got the selectors' nod for the upcoming tri-series in Bangladesh. Gony played under M S Dhoni's captaincy for Chennai Super Kings and took 17 wickets from 16 matches.

The selectors had the option of choosing Munaf Patel, Joginder Sharma and Ashok Dinda. However, they went ahead with Gony, as he was skipper Dhoni's first choice. Hopefully, Gony turns out to be India's trump card in the tri-series in Bangladesh.
