Pakistani Bowler Mohd. Asif arrested in Dubai for 'possessing' drugs

Pakistani speedster Mohammad Asif has been arrested by the Dubai Police at the Dubai International Airport for allegedly carrying contraband drugs. Unconfirmed reports say that Asif was held with 1 gm of Opium. Asif was arrested on Sunday night and he has been in custody for two days. Asif will be produced in a Dubai Court today. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will be holding a press conference at 12 PM.

Asif was returning to Pakistan from Mumbai via Dubai after playing in the IPL. He played for the Delhi DareDevils. Asif was already involved in a dope scandal and faced a ban last year.
