Electing to bat, Rajasthan Royals made 196/7 in 20 overs. Asnodkar scored 60, while Yusuf Pathan made 55. R Jadeja contributed 33. For Knight Riders, Umar Gul took 3 wickets.

In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders fought when Ganguly and D Hussey were in the middle. Once they departed, the team gave in and bundled out for 151 in 20 overs.
