Knight Riders slumped to the lowest score of IPL, Mumbai Indians win in 6th Over

Mumbai Indians produced a terrific all-round performance on the field to inflict a humiliating defeat on the Kolkata Knight Riders. Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders slumped to the lowest score of the IPL, as they bundled out for 67 in 15.2 overs. Ganguly and Agarkar made 15 runs each. For Mumbai Indians, Pollock took 3 wickets, while Teja and Bravo took 2 wickets each.

The victory target looked ridiculous when a player like Jayasruiya is on top form. Jayasuriya continued from where he left against the DareDevils. He remained unbeaten on 48 off 17 balls, as Mumbai Indians reached the target in just 5.3 overs. They took only 33 balls and 40 minutes to win the match.

Sachin Tendulkar fell to Shoaib Akhtar for a duck, but Knight Riders could stop the Mumbai Indians from registering a 8-wicket victory and moving to the 4th spot in IPL points table with their 5th consecutive win. Shaun Pollock was declared "Man of the Match".
