Chennai Super Kings beat Delhi DareDevils in a thrilling encounter

Chennai Super Kings shot into the top of the IPL point table again, as they beat Delhi DareDevils by 4 wickets. Batting first, Delhi Devils piled up 187/5 in 20 overs. Gambhir scored 80, while S Dhawan made 59. Sehwag scored 23. Balaji and Morkel took 2 wickets each.

In reply, Chennai Super Kings batted aggressively from the very beginning. Although they lost crucial wickets in the middle, the Super Kings held on to their nerves, and won in the last ball of the match. They made 188/6 in 20 overs. The winning run was in fact a catch, but it was dropped by the fielder and Super Kings won. Fleming made 44, while Vidyut scored 40. Morkel contributed 30. Skipper Dhoni made 33.
