Australian Media: Aussies not paid IPl Matches

In a sensational revelation, the Australian media reported that Australian players who played in the Indian Premier League (IPL), but returned after two weeks because of national commitments, have not been paid for their short stints yet. The report was confirmed by Australian Cricketers Association (ACA) chief Paul Marsh.

According to 'The Sun Herald', the franchise owners are not clearing the money despite several reminders. Initially, they were told that they would get the money in 1/2 weeks, but that never happened. The players who returned for national duty were Ricky Ponting, Brett Lee, Michael Hussey, Simon Katich, Matthew Hayden, Andrew Symonds and many others. The IPL franchise owners have not come up with any statements so far.
