Sreesanth retracts, says Harbhajan hit him hard

S Sreesanth, who earlier downplayed the brawl with Harbhajan saying the spinner did not slap him, made a U-turn after the news came about Harbhajan's suspension. Sreesanth admitted that it was not a mere slap, but a slugfest.

Sreesanth also said that he never expected such behaviour from Harbhajan and could do nothing about the assault. Since he is part of the Indian squad and wanted to play for the country on long-term, Sreesanth just tried to forget the incident and forgave Harbhajan. However, the BCCI, media and public are in no mood to spare Harbhajan.
