Mumbai Indians lose again, Big win for Kings XI Punjab

Without Sachin Tendulkar, Mumbai Indians looked fragile and disintegrated. Now they are the weakest team in the tournament with 3 losses from as many matches. Mumbai Indians is the only team to have a blank on the points table. Today at Mohali, the lost to Kings XI Punjab by 66 runs.

Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bat first. They piled up 182 in 20 overs. Sangakkara was the top scored with 94. For Mumbai, Harbhajan took 3 wickets while Kulkarni and Nehra bagged 2 wickets each. In reply, Mumbai Indians never looked like winning the match and managed to scored 116/9 in 20 overs.

For Mumbai Indians, Bravo was the top scorer with 23. Pollock and Uthappa scored 22 and 21 respectively. Brett Lees gave away only 9 runs in 4 overs, picked up 1 wicket and effected a brilliant run-out. Pathan, Sreesanth and Chawla took 2 wickets each. Sangakkara was declared "Man of the Match".
