Live from Ahmedabad: India win Toss, elect to Bat first

India won the crucial toss in the second test match against South Africa at Motera, Ahmedabad and decided to bat first. Since the pitch looks good for batting and will take a turn on the 4th and 5th day, India holds advantage over South Africa.

The Indian team management played a master stroke by including all-rounder Irfan Pathan in place on injured Sachin Tendulkar. Ishant Sharma was not included, as he has not fully recovered from his injury.
