Judgement Day for Harbhajan, a 5-10 match ban Imminent
Both Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth arrived in Delhi for the much-awaited hearing of the "slap" case. While both players have reconciled with each other, the BCCI is in no mood to spare Harbhajan and continues to talk tough over the past couple of days. Since there is video footage of Harbhajan slapping Sreesanth on the field, he may be handed over a ban of 5 - 10 IPL matches or even a ban from international cricket.
Meanwhile, Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni came out in support of Harbhajan Singh. He termed the incident "unfortunate" and hoped that all circumstances will be taken into consideration during the hearing and the decision should not be based on the video clipping only. Dhoni said that both Harbhajan and Sreesanth are aggressive players and whatever happened was the outburst of that moment. He indirectly supported Harbhajan and wanted a counselling for Sreesanth too.
