IPL Live: Brendon McCullum scores first 150 of Twenty20 Cricket

The first match of the IPL between Kolkata Knight Riders and Bangalore Royal Challengers turned out to be a McCullum show, as the New Zealander set a record by becoming the first player to score 150 in Twenty20 format.

McCullum remained unbeaten on 158 off 73 balls. He hit 10 boundaries and 13 sixes. This is the highest individual score by any player in the T20 history. Besides McCullum, Ponting scored 20. Ganguly could contribute only 10. The Knight Riders scored 222/3 in 20 overs, setting a victory target of 223 for the Royal Challengers.
