ICC CEO Malcolm Speed ousted, Dave Richardson takes over as acting CEO

Breaking News! ICC CEO Malcolm Speed was relieved of his duty after he fell out with ICC acting President Ray Mali over Zimbabwe issue. The ICC sources said that there was a breakdown in the relations between the ICC CEO and certain cricket boards.

ICC Marketing GM Dave Richardson took over as the interim CEO. The decision to oust Speed was taken at the meeting of the ICC governing body. Speed's term was to expire in July 2008. He was sent on paid leave till July end. South Africa's Haroon Lorgart will be the new ICC CEO and will take over in July 2008.

Good Riddance. Man whose only goal during the tenure was to gang up other members against BCCI and design nefarious way to stop BCCI members from occupying top ICC post.Let's suspend ICC and play International cricket by contracting individual cricket boards
