From Glory to Shame: India bowled out for 76 at Motera

Shame! Shame! Indian batsmen produced a shameful bating display at Motera, Ahmedabad. The team bowled out for a paltry 76 with only two batsmen reaching double figure. The "Indian Lions" could play only 20 overs and returned to the pavilion before lunch. Pathan remained unbeaten on 21, while Dhoni scored 14. India got 19 extra runs.

South African fast bowlers exploited the conditions very well and never let Indians off the hook. Dale Steyn took 5 wickets, while Ntini took 3. Morkel took 2 wickets. South African used only three bowlers to rattle the Indian batting order. It seems the current IPL engagement is heavily affected Indian team's performance, as most players even skip net practice to attend IPL functions and shootings.
