Smith, McKenzie break Vinoo, Pankaj's 52-year old Record

The record is finally broken. India's Vinoo Mankad and Pankaj Roy held the highest opening partnership (413) record for 52 years, but it was broken by South Africans Graeme Smith and Neil McKenzie today during the second test match between South Africa and Bangladesh at Chittagong. The duo added 415 runs before Smith got out on 232. It was a great achievement for the South Africans, as they created history after a gap of 52 years.
