Senior Players including Kumble and Ganguly declared fit for South Africa Series

Senior Indian cricketers including skipper Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, V V S Laxman and Sourav Ganguly were declared fit for the upcoming test series against South Africa, which is scheduled to begin on March 26 in Chennai. Pace bowlers R P Singh and V R V Singh also passed the fitness test and were declared fit for the test series.

It could be recalled that master blaster Sachin Tendulkar yesterday declared himself fit for the South Africa series. The fitness test on the cricketers was conducted at the National Cricket Academy, Bangalore.
