The Mega IPL: Shahrukh launched Kight Riders in Kolkata

Breaking News! Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan launched his Kolkata team for the upcoming IPL mega event. The Kolkata team will be named as Knight Riders. The team will wear jersies of Golden and Black. John Buchanan will be the coach of Knight Riders. The team will be headed by Sourav Ganguly and will have Shoaib Akhtar, Ishant Sharma and Ajit Agarkar among others. Interestingly, Kolkata Knight Riders team will have an anthem in Bengali.

It could be recalled that Mumbai team has been named as "Mumbai Indians" and Delhi team as "Delhi Dare Devils". While Jaipur team has been given the name, "Rajasthan Royals", Chennai team will be known as "Chennai Super Kings". Vijay Mallya's Bangalore team will be called "Royal Challengers". VVS Laxman, the skipper of Hyderabad team was given an 'iconic status' at a later stage.
