Matthew Hayden brought Australia back in the game, after Indian fast bowlers reduced the champions to 24/3. Hayden and Symonds added exactly 100 runs for the 4th wicket, and Hayden in particular has been very aggressive so far. He punished Irfan Pathan with superb boundaries.
