Injured Kartik out of test series, Chawla gets nod

Within hours of his selection in India's test squad after 4 years, Murali Kartik injured himself while playing in a Deodhar Trophy match in Bangalore. He was ruled out action for 2/3 weeks. Piyush Chawla will replace him for the first two test matches against South Africa. It again became "yet so near, so far" for Murali Kartik.
