I S Bindra loses to Imtiaz Patel in ICC CEO race

South Africa's Imtiaz Patel was appointed as the new CEO of the ICC. He edged out former BCCI President I S Bindra to get this honour. Patel is a South African of Indian origin. He will succeed Malcolm Speed in June, 2008. Bindra, as a consolation, was offered the post of ICC's Principal Advisor. The decision was taken at the ICC meeting in Dubai.
