Chennai Test ended in a Tame Draw

The end result was not surprising, as it was clear from the second day itself that Chennai test was heading for a tame draw. Batsmen continued to make merry, while bowlers had to sweat out in the Sun. There was no respite for the bowlers on the fifth day too, as South Africa piled up 331/5 before both skippers decided to call it a day.

McKenzie remained unbeaten on 155. He made 94 in the first innings. Amla scored 81, followed by his first innings score of 159. For India, Harbhajan took 3 wickets and finished with a match haul of 8 wickets. Virender Sehwag was declared "Man of the Match".
