Breaking News! Sachin Tendulkar had suggested Dhoni as ODI Captain

Breaking News! In a sensational revelation, BCCI President Sharad Pawar said that it was Sachin Tendulkar who made the suggestion to appoint M S Dhoni as the skipper of the ODI team. According to Pawar, Sachin was offered the captaincy, when Dravid stepped down. However, Sachin turned down the offer and suggested Dhoni's name instead.

Sachin also said Dhoni was young,energetic and had leadership qualities besides having good relations with all team members. Sachin's feedback ensured the coveted crown of India's captain for M S Dhoni. According to the BCCI President, Sachin had also preferred young players in the Twenty20 team.
