BCCI warns Cricket Australia over Harbhajan issue
BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah warned Cricket Australia that 'unwarranted' harassment of Harbhajan Singh by Australian crowd and media could result in a 'tit-for-tat' reaction by Indian spectators when Australia tour India later this year. Cricket fans in India are peeved over the latest incident, where Harbhajan was targeted by Australian media even for scratching his arm-pit.
"Let Australia come to us and see what the Indian crowd might do," Shah said. "It's not a good thing, people must forget. All these reports are unnecessary. when your team comes here, if it's too much media attention maybe there will be the same crowd behaviour in India", Shah said.
