Andrew Symonds found himself in the centre of controversy, yet again. This time he was involved in a verbal spat with young bowler Ishant Sharma. Symonds made a quick fire 59 before being clean bowled by Ishant Sharma. He was so infuriated that he yelled at Ishant, which forced the young bowler to show him the way to pavilion. The on-field umpires stepped in and calmed down the situation. Daryl Harper was seen having a word with Dhoni and his men.
The controversy later took an interesting turn, as match referee JJ Crowe has summoned both Ishant Sharma and Andrew Symonds for a hearing on Monday. He would inquire into the alleged misbehaviour of the cricketers. According to sources, Ishant Sharma is likely to be handed over a fine, as he showed Symonds the door to pavilion.

Ishant is likely to be fined and you blame Symonds?
Why do you feel Indian players can do no wrong?
blame symonds because he should put his mouth (and his brain if he has one) to better use. he had no business to throw some words at ishant sharma who had clearly castled him and rattled his stumps. maybe he should come out on the field with a li'l bit of duct tape! rest assured, there would be no controversy!
HELL yeah!!! next thing you know... bowlers are gonna be fined for bowling a batsman out!
What the hell!
The Symonds Guy need to be thoroughly investigated. He is party to all the incidents on anf off the field.
Can someoe tell te aussies that they are the biggest troublemakers on the field.
Today it was announced only Ishant is to be fined for indicating (with the finger) Symonds leave the field and walk towards the pavilion. It was only after this gesture by Ishant that Symonds lashed out verbally towards Ishant.
Face the fact that Indian players are sometimes at fault and are wrong! Stop being so biased and recognize when team India is wrong.
I'll be interested to see if you address the 'glove controversy' and Dhoni. Looks like team India will b caught cheating.
Why Symonds finds himself in the centre of controversy always? Why he has proved himself as the bad boy in cricket? It's time he is reined in or he will blasted by some aggressive players on the field. First death on a cricket field will be bad for World Cricket.
Dhoni was not cheating, as he did not find any benefits from that glove. Just the making was different and it was changed. Thanks god, he did not use an Aluminium bat like bastard Australian Denis Lilie.....
Get your facts right. Symonds said, not yelled, "Well bowled mate." Channel 9 have proof from their microphones. Now i like Sharma and he will be a great bowler in the future. He may have just got over excited but deserves his small slap on the wrist. But leave Symonds out of this please. Your bias is embarrassing. I'm sure there won't be a retraction ion a future post because the facts don't point the way you want them too.
Reading the comments, it almost seems like the Indians and the Aussies were watching 2 entirely different matches. Some Aussie supporters seem to feel that Symonds said "Well done, Mate" and some seem to suggest that Ishant started the whole fracas. From what i was able to view, Symonds took offence to Ishant's celebrations on taking his wicket and Ishant retaliated, however the 3rd Umpire gave credence to only the fact Ishant was in the wrong and fined him 15% of the match fee. Whichever way you look at it,there seems to be a clear bias in the judgement being given over here. Unless someone steps in and cools down everybody involved, this series is going to be remembered for all the worng reasons rather than the excellent cricket on display.
Symonds' lips did not suggest that he was complementing Ishant for taking his wicket. This argument is completely ridiculous. And, Channel 9 did not have microphonic evidence. They used the lip-reading techinique.
Now it's proved who is behaving in an uncivilized manner. Matthew Hayden went live on Brisbane Radio to call Harbhajan "An Obnoxious Little Weed". Are the Australians living in a civilized society??? Indians need not say anything. It is Cricket Australia, which has called an emergency meeting to discuss the matter. They acknowledge the matter is very serious and should be handled immediately. If the reports coming from Australia are to be belived, Hayden will be handed over a fine for this unwanted outburst.
The Australian players have gone mad. Give them power, and they will kill everyone. This is really ugly and not a good sign for World Cricket....
