Sri Lanka outplayed India in "21 - 21" at Canberra
Yes, it was a "21 - 21" match, thanks to rain god. The victory target was reduced from 196 in 29 overs to 154 in 21 overs. And, Sri Lanka won the encounter in style. They hardly received any resistance while chasing the target. Sri Lanka scored 154/2 in 19 overs, thus winning the match by 8 wickets. Indian bowling and fielding looked very sloppy. Sreesanth conceded 48 runs in 3 overs.For Sri Lanka, Dishan scored an unbeaten 63, while Jayawardhane remained not out on 36. Jayasuriya contributed 27. Dishan was declared "Man of the Match". India still leads the point table with 8 points, followed by Australia (7) and Sri Lanka (6). The Commonwealth Bank tri-series now reached an interesting stage.
