Players who get "iconic" status in the IPL

The IPL auction has been making headlines today. Although 77 cricketers across the globe are being auctioned for the IPL, there are a few players who were spared from being sold off. These players are Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag. They have been given "iconic" status, which means they won't be auctioned off. They will get 15 percent more than the highest player of their team.
