Knockout match for India, Sri Lanka at Adelaide

Both India desperately want to win the Commonwealth Bank tri-series match at Adelaide, in order to reach the finals. If India loses the match, they will have to board the return flight, whereas Sri Lanka will still depend on hypothetical calculations if they lose. It's a do-or-die battle for Team India. Indian rested Sreesanth and brought in Praveen Kumar.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. They got the shocker in the very first over, as Munaf clained Dilshan's wicket. And, a few overs later, India got the much needed wicket of Jayasuriya. Jayasuriya was run out for a duck. Sri Lanka were 27/2 in 11 overs when reports last came in.
