Kapil Dev sues BCCI on Pension issue

Former Indian skipper and legendary cricketer Kapil Dev filed a case against the BCCI on his pension issue. It could be recalled that BCCI had stopped Kapil Dev's pension and other benefits, after he joined BCCI's rival ICL.

Kapil Dev was upset the way BCCI treated him, even as he served Indian cricket for 30 years. The BCCI "deliberately" amended the rules to stop pension and other benefits given to former cricketers who joined ICL. Kapil Dev has played 131 Test matches and 225 ODIs for India. Under his captaincy, India won the World Cup in 1983.
