IPL Auction over, Final list announced

The much-hyped IPL Auction, that made the headlines yesterday, is finally over. Out of the 79 players available for auction, only two were withdrawn - Mohammad Yousuf and Ashley Prince. Some key players like Mike Hussey, McGrath and Justin Langer were retained at their reserve price, after they found no takers in the initial bid.

Five players were not auctioned, as they got the "iconic status". Read more here to know about these cricket "icons". The icons will get 15 percent more than the highest auctioned player of the team. Mahendra Singh Dhoni topped the chart with Rs. 6 crore, while Symonds would get Rs. 5.4 crore. Among the bowlers, Ishant Sharma topped the list with a whopping Rs. 3.8 crore.
