Gambhir scores Century, India set a target of 268 for Sri Lanka to win

Gautam Gambhir produced yet another majestic peformance by scoring an unbeaten century against Sri Lanka in the Brisbane ODI. Gambhir and Dhoni added an unbeaten 184 runs for the fifth wicket to put India on top. India finished at 267/4 in 50 overs and set a target of 268 for Sri Lanka to win the match.

Sachin Tendulkar scored 35, while Sehwag fell on 33. Gautam Gambhir remained unbeaten on 102. It was Gambhir's 3rd ODI hundred. Skipper Dhoni played a captain's innings and remained not out on 88. For Sri Lanka, Muralitharan took 2 wickets.
