Dhoni sticks with Yuvraj Singh.....India fails
Dhoni's love for Yuvraj Singh continues.....Even as Yuvraj continues with his poor form in the current Australian tour, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in no mood to drop him. Even after the shameful defeat at Adelaide, Dhoni declared that Yuvraj Singh will play every match of the series. Is it a sign of defiance or arrogance???If Dhoni continues to show such arrogance, he would be out of Team India sooner or later. Remember what happened to players like Azharuddin and Saurav Gangy! Dhoni is still a kid in cricket and he must learn from it, rather than dictating his terms.
It's shocking that Dhoni dropped Sehwag from the playing XI to accomodate an out-of-form Yuvraj Singh. He also asked Yuvraj to bowl for four overs when the momentum was with the Indians. Yuvraj conceded 26 from 4 overs, which helped Clarke and Hogg to take Australia to a respectable total. Ironically, firebrand Ishant Sharma could not continue his bowling quota and finished at 2/32 from 9 overs.
There is no doubt that Yuvraj Singh is a match winner and he has played anchor role in India's victories on many occasions. But the current situation demands that he must be rested to get a chance to rectify his errors and come back with a bang. But Dhoni can't imagine an Indian ODI team without Yuvraj Singh. He does not want Ganguly, he does not want Sehwag. He wants only one man - Yuvraj Singh whose highest score in this tour is 26..........

Sehwag was not dropped.. He did not recover from a hip injury.
Yet you are right in remarking that Dhoni is showing undue arrogance in retaining Yuvraj.
In fact, even Dhoni does not deserve a place in the test team but is kept in the team.
It is high time selectors stop creatng needless stars like Dhoni and Yuvraj, when they are just bits and pieces players shining in patches.
And yes, u r quite right that is he continues acting with such snobbishness, he will stop deserving a place in 1-day team too.. Whether he actually loses his place depends on mornic selectors, who think for some strange reason, Yuvraj and Dhoni are better batsman than Ganguly and Dravid.
