Australia up to a good start against Sri Lanka in the third match of the Commonwealth Bank tri-series in Sydney. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Riding on Gilchrist's half century, the hosts have so far scored 143/3 in 33 overs. Gilchrist was out for 61. Matthew Hayden scored 42. Michael Clarke was batting on 28 when reports last came in.
