Brett Lee rested for Adelaide ODI against India, Clarke doubtful
Finally, here's a good news for Team India. India's nemesis Brett Lee won't be playing in the CB tri-series match against India at Adelaide tomorrow. He has been rested because of injury. Vice Captain Michael Clarke is also doubtful for the match. The inconsistent performances of Matthew Hayden and Ricky Ponting worry Australia a lot.
Since the Australian batting line-up has failed to provide a power show in the series, they heavily relied on their strong bowling attack to break the opposition. Lee's absence could weaken Australia's bowling attack against India. Australia is way ahead on the points table. So, the competition between India and Sri Lanka has become very intense. If India wins against Australia tomorrow, they can virtually assure themselves a place in the final.
