Aussies inflict humiliating defeat on Sri Lanka

Nathan Bracken rattled the Sri Lankan batting order with his pace, as Sri Lanka slumped to a 128-run defeat against Australia in the Commonwealth Bank tri-series match in Sydney. Chasing a victory target of 254 to win, Sri Lanka bowled out for 125 in 31.3 overs. Only Sangakara showed some resistance with a fighting 42. Bracken took 5 wickets.

Australia is now placed at the top of the point table with 7 points, followed by India 4 and Sri Lanka 2. Next match of the series will be played between India and Australia on Sunday.
