Umpires win it for Australia, Cricket loses

Finally, Bucknor and Benson smiled. They won it for Australia. Yes, they are not Australian cricketers. They were the umpires of the Sydney test match. From the day 1, they tried their best to win it for Australia.

Despite the best efforts from the umpires, Indians almost saved the match. But Michale Clark's 3 wickets in the penultimate over of the match, changed the game and Australia won by 122 runs.

The Indian team was bowled out for 210. For India, Ganguly scored 51. Dravid also contributed 38. Kumble remained unbeaten on 45. Dhoni made 35. India lost the match only 7 balls to go. Symonds was declared "Man of the Match". It is Australia's 16th consecutive test win, which is a world record.

In view of the farse in the second test match and ugly cricket played by the austrialians, Indian board should pull back their team from australia and severe all cricketing realtionships with theam. Australians must be banned from playing cricket for next two years in all international level by ICC. Austrilians should not be allowed to bring the glorious game of cricke to any more disrepute. They must be taught moral lessons and righteousness and asked to do public service like public toilet cleaning. Cheaters are punished under law. And if you are cheating in the full view of 100 crore people we can't allow it. They are Australian crickets are criminals in the view of hundred crore Indians. If they go out of the stadium they could be arrested for con'ing the Indian team and the whole world.

Also umpires should be criminally procecuted and later publically executed.

It’s a shame on the Australian team, as well as on the ICC.

Considering the number of wrong decisions given by the umpires against India, not only on the field but also off the field, ICC should disregard the second test match, and arrange to get it either replayed or reduce the test series to a three match series.

India should in no circumstances tolerate the utter nonsense. There were several wrong decisions, and I feel that the worst decision was against Saurav Ganguli in the second innings, where the fielder in slips had not taken the catch cleanly, and the stupid Mark Benson, instead of referring the third umpire, was asking Ricky Pointing, who has no credibility left.

It was rightly said by the Indian captain, that there was only one team playing with true sprit of the game! This also makes me think that in 16 consecutive matches, how many matches have Australia won in this manner.

I finally have a question for everyone to ponder upon – Why were almost all wrong decisions (around 10 or more) given against the Indian team only, and not the Australian team? This surely cannot be a coincidence!

After the second test match, I have lost all respect for the Australian team. I have serious doubts about the credibility of all the three umpires - Steve Bucknor, Mark Benson and the third umpire. Infact, I have serious doubts about ICC’s credibility, if they allow the things to continue in this way!
