Sehwag to play in Perth, Kumble scraps Catching agreement

India has finally decided to recall Virender Sehwag into the 11-member squad for the third test match against Australia at Perth, which begins tomorrow. Sehwag will open the innings with Wasim Jaffer. Dravid will bat at No. 3, while Yuvraj will get the boot. India will go into the match with 3 pace bowlers. Irfan Pathan may get a chance to play, while Harbhajan Singh may still play, though there is nothing in the pitch for the spinners.

In another interesting development, Indian skipper Anil Kumble scrapped the catching agreement between the skippers. He took the decision in the wake of unfair practice adopted by some Australian players including their skipper Ricky Ponting during the Sydney test. Ponting has expressed disappointment on Kumble's decision.
