Sachin Tendulkar scored 38th Test Century, India fights back

Sachin Tendulkar played yet another majestic innings by scoring the 38th test hundred of his career. The feat came in India's first innings of the Sydney test against Australia. After a series of nervous 90's in Test and ODIs, Sachin finally managed to score a ton.

Sachin exulted with joy, looked relaxed, hugged Harbhajan and thanked god many times by looking at the heaven. It was an emotional moment for him, as he was under severe criticism for not being able to convert the 90's to 100's. It was a huge relief not only for Sachin, but for millions of his fans. This is Sachin's third century at SCG.

Earlier, Saurabh Ganguly scored 67, before Brett Lee rocked the Indian middle order by removing Yuvraj, Dhoni and Kumble. India were 415/7 when reports last came in. Sachin was batting on 100, while Harbhajan was going well on 38.
