No place for Dravid, Ganguly in ODI Squad

In a surprising development, the India selectors dropped Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid from India's ODI squad for the upcoming tri-series against Australia and Sri Lanka. Suresh Raina made a come back. The BCCI has announced a 16-member team for the Twenty20 match and tri-series, which will begin on February 1 and will continue until March 7.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be the captain of Indian team, while Yuvraj Singh will be his deputy. The selectors has named three standby players as replacement for the injured players.

MS Dhoni (Captain), Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh (Vice Captain), Harbhajan Singh, Robin Uthappa, Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Sreesanth, RP Singh, Ishant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik, Piyush Chawla and Pravin Kumar.

Standby: Manoj Tiwary, Yusuf Pathan and Munaf Patel.
