Live Cricket Update from Adelaide: India vs Australia (Day 4) - Cricket Buzz

Australian skipper Ricky Ponting slammed a magnificent century to put Australia on top. On the fourth day of the test match, Australia hasn't yet lost a single wicket. At lunch, Australia were 425/3. Ponting was batting on 124 and Clarke was batting on 91.

Australia added 103 runs in the morning session without losing any wicket. They are all set to post a big score and put India under pressure. If that happens, we can expect to see a result in this boring test match.

If Kumble can score 87 and Harbhajan can score 63, how could anyone think that Hayden, Ponting and Clarke keep quiet? Hayden and Ponting scored centuries and Clarke is on his way to get his share. Later, Gilchrist and Symonds will charge at Indian bowling attack, whick looks in a disarray. Remember, India is playing without RP Singh. If Australia can get a lead of 200 in the first innings, I can bet on them for a win. Clearly, India is on a back foot. Well done Punter!

Ponting out for 140. Clarke out for 108. Gilchrist could not score much, but got standing ovation from the crowd and big applause from Indian cricketers. Australia 509/6 at tea. The test is heading towards a tame draw.

Australia bowled out for 563. And Nikita, Clarke made 118, not 108.
