India yet again came in the way of Australians who were looking to register their 17th consecutive Test Match win. Registering an emphatic 72 – run victory on the fourth day of the Perth Test, the Indian Team put up an exemplary performance to deny Aussies for the second time to win 17 Tests in a row. For the Indians it was a test of their character after all that happened in the second Test Match at Sydney.
Some facts to be noted are:
1)India became the only team from the Subcontinent to beat Australia in Perth.
2)Australia lost a Test Match after three years.
3)West Indies were the only team that beat Australia in Perth in 1985-86.
Similar kind of interesting facts will be covered in ‘Learn English Through Cricket’ will be launched shortly which is one among the largest theme based English Learning programs. ‘Learn English Through Love and Romance’ is one among the series which covers 22,000 example sentences and over 2000 illustrations and pronunciations. Kudos to the Indian Team and hope that they put up the same performance at Adelaide.
